We are happy to contribute to the 2019 Clinical Trials Europe from Oct 15-17, 2019 in Basel, Switzerland.

Join us to learn more about latest insights on how to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the clinical setting. Therefore, we will share details on how AI algorithms can support patients and doctors in their clinical journey. In our talk “How will AI affect the patient journey of the future?” on Oct 16, 2019 we are focusing on the patient’s perspective. Thus, we will present a near-future outlook and discuss fiction and reality of AI in medicine. Looking forward to see you in Basel.

About Matthieu-P. Schapranow

Dr. Matthieu-P. Schapranow received a PhD in Software Engineering from University of Potsdam in Germany in 2012. He also received BSc and MSc degrees in Software Engineering, in 2006 and 2008, respectively from the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI).Since June 2012, he is Principal Investigator of Life Sciences at the Chair of Prof. Plattner at the HPI and visiting scientist at the Charité - Universitätsmedizin, Berlin. He is a valued member of the Berlin Cancer Society and contributes to the working group e-Health of the Federal Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (BITKOM).Dr. Schapranow was honored with the Berlin-Brandenburg Innovation Award for his interdisciplinary cooperation with the Charité in 2012. Together with Prof. Dr. Plattner, he published the textbook "High-Performance In-Memory Genome Data Analysis" on occasion of the World Health Summit 2013.
