The Charité Berlin is the largest university hospital in Europe. Life science experts, e.g. medical experts, oncologists, and biologists, provide essential insights in their daily work.
Charité Comprehensive Cancer Center
The Charité Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCCC) is an excellence center for the treatment of cancer disease. Together with oncologists, we are applying real-time data analysis to enable precision medicine.
Institute for Medical Genetics
The Institute for Medical Genetics with their geneticist provides genetic services for all fields of research and therapy. We are in a close collaboration to improve algorithms for processing and analysis of genetic data.
The German Heart Institute Berlin is specialized in treating of cardiovascular diseases. Together with medical experts, we are working on real-time analysis of complex, multidimensional data.
We are collaborating with the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) in Heidelberg to facilitate the study of the human immune system and advance oncology research. Amongst others, we are focusing on the real-time analysis of diverse genetic data to support research insights.
Geneticists and biological experts work together at the Max Delbrück Center (MDC) for Molecular Medicine on fundamental research. We work together with them on enabling interactive exploration and combination of research data.
EPO provides preclinical services for research and therapy of cancer. We are collaborating on the integration of heterogeneous experiment data into medical models.
We collaborate with Bayer Healthcare to obtain insights in drug development processes.
The data experts gmbh (deg) provides specialized IT services for healthcare providers. We are collaborating on building a scalable data analysis platform.
The Gesundheitswissenschaftliches Institut Nordost (GeWINO) is a research institute of the German health insurance company AOK. We are collaborating on researching real-time data analysis methods supporting health research.
The Technology, Methods, and Infrastructure for Networked Medical Research (TMF) is focusing on the definition of standardized methods for medical research. We are collaborating on defining data analysis methods supporting health research.
The Hasso Plattner Institute is an academic research institute for IT Systems Engineering in Germany. We retrospect on a long history of interdisciplinary cooperations between academia and industry, e.g. global acting fast-moving consumer goods companies. Thus, the analysis of big enterprise data with in-memory database technology is one of our fields of research. In addition, we are focusing on applying in-memory technology to selected areas, such as scientific in-memory data management. Typically, the amount of available data in scientific computing exceeds all requirements of data sets used in traditional enterprises.
Our students and academic staff are always looking for new research challenges. If you are have current IT challenge for us, get in contact with us.
HPI Future SOC Lab
The Future Service-Oriented Computing (FSOC) Lab at the Hasso Plattner Institute provides access to beta computer hardware of international vendors. Thus, we are able to develop innovative algorithms on highly parallelized hardware components before they are available for the consumer market.
